Rainy night
Journal Entry: Thu May 1, 2008, 8:46 PM
Its raining out tonight.. Love the sound on the window of my home office.
I've been have fun watching other photographers work these last few days.
Some really good talent on DA. Following the yellowstone shots of a couple
of outstanding photogs. Its a great wildlife treasure trove. Can't wait
to go back. For now I'll just keep shooting around home and processing some
shots from my trip.

good as the canon glass. You only pay for quality once.

the 100-400. You have to shoot at iso 400, but thats not a problem with the 5D. ISO 200 on a bright day.

Love you back!
What system are you shooting? If canon, the cheapest quality lens is the 400 f5.6, sharp but no IS, the 100-400 IS L F5.6 is a little more spendy and very versitile. I have one and its served me very well. A friend has a tamron 200-500 and does very will with it, but he's switching to canon glass as soon as possible. Bottom line get the best glass you can afford.
I'm looking into getting a new telephoto lens specifically for shooting wildlife, it seems like you've got a monster lens and your shots look great, do you have any recommendations or advice on brands, shooting speed, or focal length?
Thanks

I have not checked the whole site out, but I will.......you really have found your nitch in life.
I am still quite disappointed that I was born without any talent and had to settle for looks instead. I am just honored to be related to 'The Artist'
Don - I am proud of you!! You are leaving a very lovely, gentle footprint on the world....
Love ya!!
